HP Ink Costs More Than Human Blood

Chart: Relative prices of different liquids.

“As this graph shows, printer ink is rather expensive, and costs more than things like human blood or a barrel of crude oil.”

Should we really compare healthcare products to other commercial products, especially ones we can buy in a store? Sure – printer ink is costly, but what do we gain by putting it in relation to human blood?

Happy new year!

2010. The first decade of this millennium is over, already! I wonder what’ll happen this year, too! I’ll be turning 18, have to think of what I will be studying after school, and especially the last thing will be a major deciding factor in my life, excitement ensues!

Those are just the major things for me, though. How will be 2010 be in regards to technology? Webbooks, nettops, eReaders, smartphones, Google, new advances in bio-engineering, the Large Hadron Collider, and all other kinds of ‘old’ and new exciting technologies will bloom in the next decade.

But we’ve got architecture, too. Concepts in Japan and China still prove interesting, but what about the prestigious Dubai? Will Dubai still be able to impress us with its fancy buildings, or will other countries ‘steal’ the attention?

And what about internet memes? Will internet culture continue to grow, or will most content still consist of reposts of reposts of reposts? Will kittens rule the world? Or are we FIRIN’ DA LAZER with a power level of OVER NINETHOUSAND!!!1!!!!? Or something wholly different? All of that, and more…

In 2010!
